Santa Monica Psychotherapy Group is currently seeking licensed providers, preferably with private practice experience, to join our group. As a new provider, you will be credentialed in panels and referred clients allocated to providers according to their specialties and availability. We also take care of the billing for you.

The group provides a platform where diverse clients can be seen. It is an ideal environment where to further your practice, interact with other professionals, and evolve your professional life. SMPG receives insurance-referred clients with PPO/EPO plans, HMOs, and EAPs, as well as self-referred clients.

SMPG enables providers to see clients that are covered by insurance, thus bringing mental health services more widely to the community . Being part of SMPG may allow you to complement  your own private pay clients with insurance based referrals. We call this a a 'hybrid' Private Practice/Group Model, where our providers function independently, but are also interested in interacting with colleagues within a group and remain accessible to the community for needed services.

Existing participation in insurance panels is a plus but not required;

we will credential you in all panels under the group.

Applicants Must:

  • Be licensed psychotherapists (as above)

  • Have highly ethical standards

  • Be able to interact comfortably in a mixed private practice/group setting

  • Be comfortable with basic technology such as email, voice mail, online calendars, etc.
