Massimo Avincola, LMFT

​

Massimo graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, with Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Pepperdine University, Graduate School of Education and Psychology and has been licensed since 2005.

​

His primary focus as a therapist is to provide clients with a comfortable, supportive and non-judgmental environment where they can feel safe, and to build a strong therapeutic relationship based on mutual respect and trust. As clients begin to explore what it is troubling them, he helps them to understand and overcome the obstacles that are getting in the way of achieving their goals and feeling more fulfilled in their lives.

Massimo has experience working with children, adults, couples and families, as well as seniors living in skilled nursing homes, focusing on variety of issues ranging from problems in relationships, parenting and self esteem to dealing with depression, anxiety, grief and loss.

​

Originally from Italy, Massimo speaks Italian, Spanish and French.
